PURCELL, Oklahoma –  Prosecutors have formally charged a man with murder in the deaths of two children and their mother whose bodies were found July 23, after their mobile home near Dibble burned.

Shaun Bosse, 27, is accused of killing Katrina Griffin and her two children, 8-year-old Christian and 6-year-old Chasity. Investigators say at least two of the victims were stabbed to death before the fire was set.

District Attorney Greg Mashburn charged Bosse with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree arson.

Police believe Bosse tried to cover up the murders by burning down their mobile home near Dibble.

Prosecutors had a 4:30 p.m. deadline Friday to file murder charges in McClain County before a hearing would have to be held that would require releasing evidence.

The D.A. says the investigation is not finished yet. The court could now hold a hearing that would force the state to reveal at least part of its evidence against Bosse.
