OKLAHOMA CITY -- A person has died after being stabbed in the metro early Tuesday morning.
Oklahoma City police said several people were outside a home near S.E. 42nd Street and Stiles after midnight. Officers said an argument broke out, a man went inside to get a knife and came out and stabbed two men.
The two men drove themselves to the hospital and one died a short time later.
Police arrived to the E.R. of Southwest Medical Center on an unrelated call when 21-year-old Manuel Sanchez and 18-year-old Maxwell McIntyre came in with stab wounds. Sanchez was later pronounced deceased. McIntyre is expected to survive, but remains in the hospital.
After speaking with witnesses, investigators determined 24-year-old William Thompson was involved in the altercation and was arrested on a first-degree murder complaint as well as an assault with a deadly weapon complaint.
