WYNNEWOOD, Oklahoma – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a deadly assault that happened in Garvin County over the weekend.

It happened in Wynnewood on Saturday, April 16, 2011, about 5:30 p.m. at a home in the 200 East Indiola.

The OSBI said Wynnewood Police arrived on the scene to find two people, Gregory Cook and Pat Cook, had been assaulted.

Investigators say Gregory Cook, 53, died on the way to the hospital. Pat Cook, his brother, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the OSBI said.

Officers arrested Gregory Cook's nephew, 19-year-old Zachary Deitrick. Deitrick is Pat Cook's Son, the OSBI said.

Investigators say Deitrick was booked into the Garvin County jail on a murder complaint.
