OKLAHOMA CITY -- Thousands of dollars in reward money is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of two bank robbers dubbed the "Pantyhose Posse."

According to the FBI, two unknown white or Hispanic men entered the MidFirst Bank located on S.W. 44th Street around 10:15 a.m. wearing black pantyhose over their heads. Investigators say one of the robbers vaulted the counter and verbally demanded $100s while holding a firearm. The other robber stood in the lobby area of the bank holding another firearm. The bank employees complied with the robbers' demand.

The robbers gathered an undetermined amount of money and left the bank. Witnesses observed the robbers enter a black pickup truck and flee the area. No one was injured in Monday's robbery.

The robber that vaulted the counter was described as a white or Hispanic man approximately 5'8" to 6'0" in height. He was wearing a long sleeve, faded black crew neck sweatshirt and blue jeans. He had a tan baseball style cap and black panty hose over his face. He was carrying a firearm.

The robber in the lobby was described as a white or Hispanic man approximately 5'6" to 5'8" in height. He was wearing a long sleeve, gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. He also was carrying a firearm and had black panty hose over his head. Both firearms were black in color.

The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.

At this time, law enforcement believes the so-called Pantyhose Posse is also responsible for two other Oklahoma City bank robberies. The first located at Bank of Oklahoma at 4324 S.E. 44th Street on May 6 and Coppermark Bank at 6809 N. Meridian Avenue on May 11.

In addition to MidFirst's reward of $4,000 dollars, the Oklahoma Banker's Association is offering $2,000 in reward money and Coppermark Bank also is offering $2,000. The total reward being offered is up to $8,000.

Anyone with information regarding either robbery should contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770 anytime. Callers can remain anonymous.
