OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma – Authorities believe they have caught two members of the "Pantyhose Posse".
On June 2, 2011, FBI Agents and Oklahoma City Police Detectives arrested Edmond Joseph Itson, 52, of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Terry Lee Kinney, 58, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the parking lot of a shopping center located at S.W. 89th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The arrests were made without incident and no one was injured during the arrest.
Law enforcement recovered evidence from the robbery of MidFirst Bank on May 23, 2011 that led to identifying Kinney as one of the robbers. Law enforcement then began surveillance on Kinney and discovered he was associated with Itson.
Itson owned a black Dodge Ram pickup truck. Surveillance continued on both Kinney and Itson through today when law enforcement discovered the two of them together in Itson's truck. They were observed by law enforcement driving through the parking lots of several banks in Oklahoma City, Moore and Norman. At the time of the arrests, Kinney and Itson were in Itson's black truck and pantyhose and a black, plastic firearm looking weapon were recovered from the truck.
Both Kinney and Itson were arrested and will be charged in federal court in Oklahoma City for violation of Title 18 USC 2113(a), Bank Robbery. The robbery was investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
The public is reminded that this arrest is merely an accusation and that the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
