OKLAHOMA CITY – Crews have nearly finished constructing a giant video board along the north side of the Oklahoma City Arena in downtown.
The board is 75 feet wide and 21 feet tall. It's part of a $5 million contract the city has with Ford Audio and Video to make improvements inside and outside the arena.
According to a spokesperson for the Oklahoma City arena, the board is unique because of its shape. It curves with the building.
Construction of the board should be finished Monday, but it won't be up and running until closer to basketball season. It will mainly be used to promote Thunder games and other events at the arena.
