OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City police officer accused of molesting his adopted son is expected to resign from the department on Tuesday, according to his attorney.
Sgt. Maurice Martinez, is charged with 37 counts, including the alleged sexual abuse of his adopted son and other foster children.
Martinez is also charged with possession of child pornography, threatening a witness, harboring a runaway child, and conspiracy.
Martinez was first arrested in January when his adopted 16-year-old son accused him of sexual abuse. He currently on administrative leave with pay from the Oklahoma City Police Department.
