Firefighters Have Wildfire In Tecumseh Under Control

TECUMSEH, Oklahoma -- Firefighters battling a wildfire near Highway 9 and Drummond Road in Tecumseh is under control and nearly out.

The flames did burn near homes and some evacuations did occur. However, nobody was injured and no structures were damages.

Fire crews from Tecumseh, Pink, McComb, Little Axe and Shawnee battled the wildfire. Firefighters are now putting out "hot spots."
