Man Killed At Northwest OKC Apartment Complex Identified

Oklahoma City police release the name of a man found dead Tuesday in the 1400 block of N. Council Road.

Donte Deshawn McCarther, 21, was found dead at a Northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex on Tuesday, January 17. McCarther's body was lying near a breezeway on the apartment grounds when officers arrived. Officers were responding to a shots fired call.

Investigators have not identified a suspect in this case. Anyone with information should call the Homicide tip-line at 405-297-1200.
