New Details Revealed In Arrest Of OKC Council Member

New details are out in the arrest of an Oklahoma City council member.

In a police report, the arresting officer explains that Council Member Skip Kelly smelled of alcohol and failed a field sobriety test.

The report also says after Kelly was arrested near Northwest 63rd and Shartel, he kept asking to use the restroom. The officer explained he would have to wait and then rushed to get him to the jail.

Kelly apparently couldn't wait. The report says, he urinated in the back-seat of the patrol car. He then told the officer, he was not trying to disrespect him.

On Friday, Kelly was booked into the jail on suspicion of DUI. He later posted bond. Kelly is still scheduled to be at the weekly city council meeting Tuesday morning.
