Second Arrest Made In Shooting Death At OKC Apartment Complex

A second arrest is made in the fatal shooting of a man at an Oklahoma City apartment complex.

Lawrence W. Bartlett II, 27, was arrested Friday, January 27 in the death of 21-year-old Donte Deshawn McCarther. Bartlett was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of felony murder.

Police said someone called 911 on Tuesday, January 17, to report shots fired at an apartment complex in the 1400 block of N. Council Road. When officers arrived, they found McCarther's body lying near a breezeway.

Police also arrested Brandon Dawson in connection with the murder.
