One of three men accused with robbing and shooting Major John Waldenville will go on trial June 11.

A judge set the trial date Friday for Diante Douglas. Waldenville was off duty when he was working as a security guard at Cattlemen's Steakhouse in May 2011. As he took money from the restaurant to a bank, Waldenville was shot in the head. He's still recovering.

Prosecutors said Douglass told suspects Keonta Prince and Christopher Baker when Waldenville would be leaving the restaurant. Prince and Baker are charged with shooting intent to kill and robbery with a firearm.
