"Hopefully we will be able to be the voice for Jessica Brown and her unborn child," Clabes said.

Investigators explained this is a difficult case taking several twists and turns in the last three weeks. Right now, two persons of interest are in custody. A third person refuses to surrender. Police are also calling Jessica Mchperson- Brown's ex-husband a person of interest.

Police records show officers received nearly two dozen calls from the home. Some of the reports indicate her ex-husband Fabion Brown trespassed and violated a restraining order.

"He is still obviously a person of interest in the case too." Clabes said.

In an email to News 9, Fabion Brown explained police have it all wrong and said he "had nothing to do with the murder."

We tried to visit with Brown at his home, but he did not wish to go on camera. Instead, we were referred back to Brown's email. Brown wrote although going through a divorce, he "still loved Jessica."

Brown said he was "being helpful as possible with police," but said police are trying to say he "planned the whole thing," because of his "wife's life insurance policy."

"We have spoken with him, but I would not say he's been cooperative in this case," Chief Clabes said.

Police explain Fabion Brown and his girlfriend are both considered persons of interest in the murder investigation.

But Brown said police have been lying in this case. Prosecutors disagreed with Brown by saying Brown's statements are not true. Prosecutors also said Brown has been uncooperative.

Still, Chief Clabes is confident investigators are making progress,

"Hopefully by the end of the week we will have formal charges in this case," Clabes said.

The third person of interest police are still looking for is Brodric Glover. The two juveniles are in custody on unrelated charges.

At this point, no arrests have been made for the murder. Police say they expect formal charges to be filed this week.
