Husband Formally Charged In Blanchard Mom's Death

Prosecutors file two murder charges against the husband of a pregnant Blanchard mom found dead at Lake Stanley Draper last month.

Reports show someone stabbed Jaymie Adams multiple times and caused her head trauma. Her husband, Justin Adams, admitted to abusing Jayme and said he would be the only one to be with her.

Murder charges outline the case against Justin Adams. The charges reveal that during Adams' interview with police, one day after his wife Jaymie disappeared, Investigators asked him how long they had been married. Adams told police "it would have been a year in February." Investigators said he answered most questions in the past tense.

After Justin Adams cried out to his missing wife Jaymie during a press conference he held shortly after reporting her missing, he talked with detectives and told them "they had a "great marriage." He stated the relationship started out "rocky" and they were "friends with benefits."

The document also shows Justin explained he and his wife were soliciting men on Craigslist saying "she hated it, we both hated it." Justin then told police Jaymie had gotten raped and "knocked up" by accident. But he said they had worked everything out.

Police arrested Justin because they said in interviews he gave inconsistent statements with facts later revealed in the case. The documents reveal Justin told detectives Jaymie took her cell phone and laptop with her when she allegedly went to meet men for sex on December 10. But investigators did not find her phone in her van the next day at a McDonalds, instead they said Jaymie and Justin's cell phones were hitting the same tower 12 hours before her disappearance and the day after. The document shows the tower was near where police recovered her body at Lake Stanley Draper on January 7.

Justin's mother, Tina Clarke is also mentioned in the reports saying at 2 or 3 a.m. the morning of Jaymie's disappearance, Justin knocked on her door asking to borrow her car. The document also shows phone calls were exchange between Justin and his mom around that same time frame. The report notes Clarke told Justin bodies are frequently at Draper, so she took Justin to Lake Stanley Draper to look for Jaymie.

The document also details evidence collected after Justin Adams arrest. Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office deputies found Justin since had correspondence with a woman named Lisa Leaver-Pate, that indicates they have an intimate relationship. The document claims Justin Adams asked this woman to marry him and discussed having a swinging relationship. The woman reportedly initially agreed to talk with detectives, but her attorney later declined.
