A man has been charged with "maintaining a house of prostitution" at an apartment on Oklahoma City's south side.

Oklahoma City Police, working with special agents from Homeland Security Investigations, arrested Walter Enoc-Mejia, 36, during a sting operation at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of SW 39th St. on January 26.

During the arrest Enoc-Mejia told police that customers were being charged $35 to have sex with the females in the apartment. He said the "house" took in $18 and the females got to keep $17. He also told police that he was put in charge of the apartment by a man named "Juan".

Enoc-Mejia said he was being paid $300 a week to collect the money.

Agents found two women in the apartment at the time of the arrest, one of whom said she was willingly working there.
