Both police and witnesses say the two were seen arguing Tuesday night in the parking lot of the 7-11 on the corner of NE 10th St. and St. John Ave. The two were then seen getting into a car together and drove north less than a block away.
Orange spray paint now marks the spot where're police say the boyfriend hit his girlfriend with the car, running her over. She later died at the hospital.
A neighbor who lives near where the deadly dispute occurred says he did not hear any screaming or yelling or anything.
"It was quiet," said Billy Ray Willyerd, who lives along St. John Ave. "I didn't hear any screeching of tires or bumps or booms or whatever."
Willyerd says he did not know the couple, but says what happened is senseless.
"When you get into a heated argument, leave it alone, walk away," said Willyerd. "I don't care what she said or did, it's [not] worth her life!"
The boyfriend is now in the Midwest City Jail, accused of murder.
