Wife Buries Former Oklahoma Man In Garden Behind Florida Home

A body of a former Oklahoma man is discovered in Florida, buried in a herb garden. His wife is accused of burying him there.

Deputies say Barbara Scott buried her husband, Benny Scott in the garden outside their Florida home. Police say she buried him there because she knew the ground would be soft and disguise why she was digging the hole.

When questioned about where Benny was, police said Scott told some people her husband was back here in Oklahoma visiting family. She told family here that he had throat surgery and couldn't come the phone.

The couple's daughter finally uncovered the truth when Scott's stories got twisted. However, police still aren't sure how Benny died.

Barbara Scott turned herself into police. An autopsy will determine how her husband died.
