According to UCO police, a witness at the scene described the vehicle as a mini-van, but the make and the model of the van is unknown at this point.
It was originally reported that the van was dark in color, but the witness clarified Friday morning the van is white or light in color with tinted windows, according to UCO police.
Police say the van was last seen going east on 2nd Street in Edmond. It may have damage to its windshield and other front end parts.
One of the students hit was listed in serious condition at a local hospital Thursday evening. The other was listed as a non-emergency.
