New Name Unveiled For OKC's Bricktown Ballpark

Bricktown Ballpark officials unveil a new name for the baseball field.

It will now be called the Newcastle Field at Bricktown. The OKC Redhawks and Newcastle Casino made the announcement Wednesday afternoon.

"This is very exciting for us," said Jenny Cross, Marketing Manager at Newcastle Casino. "We hope to offer more of an entertainment experience in it, here in the city and out at the casino."

The new name will go into effect immediately. Opening Night for the 2012 RedHawks season is Thursday night.
