Tornado Creates Sporadic Damage 4 Miles Long

Norman is cleaning up after a tornado strikes the heart of the city.

One business south of Norman Regional Hospital had its roof torn off and ripped apart. Power lines and trees left many streets blocked. Many people witnessed the storm cause damage.

Witness Misty Foote says all she could think was that she wanted to be home. She saw the tornado tear through just east of downtown Norman.

Norman Fire Department is reporting that one man was found dead in his apartment. However, his death is not related to the tornado. Firefighters found the dead individual after checking on people in the area.
