EDMOND, Okla. - An elderly Edmond woman and other family members could face serious charges for what police say her neighbor found.
The neighbor called police Wednesday night and told them a developmentally disabled adult male was chained up in her neighbor's house.
The neighbor was at the house returning the elderly woman's dog that had gotten away. Police say the elderly woman invited the neighbor into the house. That's when the neighbor made the discovery.
Police say the victim is one of the elderly woman's sons. They say another one of her son's chained his brother's ankle to a padlock in the living room three weeks ago.
Police say he chained his brother up because his brother had wandered away from the home several times in the past. Criminal charges are pending.
