OKC Police: Woman Arrested For Running Over, Killing Boyfriend

Oklahoma City police arrest a woman for allegedly running over and killing her boyfriend.

According to police, Maria Rodriguez, 26, dragged then ran over her boyfriend, 25-year-old Delgado Jose Uriel Ontiveros, with her vehicle.

It happened on Sunday, June 17. Police said they were responding to a report of a man lying in the roadway. Investigators soon discovered the couple had argued in the street and at some point Rodriguez drove away, dragging Ontiveros and eventually running him over. He was taken to OU Medical Center where he later died.

After the alleged incident, police said Rodriguez fled the scene but was later found at her home on S.W. 31st Street. She was interviewed by police at headquarters, then booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of second degree murder.
