Prosecutors filed first-degree murder charges against Luis Ruiz and Jimmy Massey Monday afternoon, nine months after police discovered Saunders' body in a duffle bag in Bethany in October 2011.

The State Medical Examiner previously determined Saunders' cause of death was a "violent death," and denied a release of the autopsy report due to its graphic nature. Despite the M.E.'s decision, new court records reveal several details of how the 19 year old died; much of it is too graphic for broadcast.

In the probable cause affidavit filed against Ruiz, investigators suggest a woman, who referred to herself as Ruiz's girlfriend at the time of the murder, says she witnessed the torture and killing of Saunders. The woman is quoted saying, before the murder she would "babysit" a girl named Carina Saunders and that Ruiz said Saunders would be "dealt with."

The court document shows Ruiz admitted to an acquaintance he killed Carina Saunders. The document also suggests the murder took place in a house at 3500 South Harvey. News 9 reported in June police were looking at a vacant lot at that location as the possible crime scene, but the house was reportedly demolished the same day police discovered Saunders body.

The document also suggests Ruiz had video of the murder on his cellphone, but Bethany police previously confirmed for News 9 they have not been able to obtain a video. They question if a video truly exists.

Bethany police booked Ruiz into the Oklahoma County jail on one count of first-degree murder on July 5 after he was arrested for stealing clothes from a Sears store in southwest Oklahoma City.

The other man charged, Jimmy Massey, was arrested in November 2011; one month after Saunders was murdered. Massey has been held in the Oklahoma County jail on drug charges until now.

Police told News 9 Massey admitted in November to having information on Carina Saunders' murder, after a witness came forward saying Massey kidnapped her and forced her to watch the murder. The witness believed the crime was an attempt to scare her and other women into cooperating with a human trafficking operation.

Massey reportedly confessed to his role in the murder while writing letters to another inmate at the Oklahoma County jail.

Until now, most search warrants and affidavits have been sealed in this case.
