Two Injured In RV Meth Lab Explosion At Arcadia Lake

Two people were injured in an RV explosion at Scissortail Park at Arcadia Lake Monday night. Fire officials say the explosion was the result of a working meth lab.

Two people were injured in an RV explosion at Scissortail Park at Arcadia Lake Monday night. Fire officials say the explosion was the result of a working meth lab.

According to officials, emergency crews responded to the incident at about 8:45 p.m. at 7015 E. 15th Street in Edmond.

According to Edmond police, investigators with the Edmond Fire Department determined the blast was the result of a working meth lab. Fire officials say a 43-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were injured.

The woman received third degree burns to over 50 percent of her body, and the man received severe burns to his face. Both victims were taken to Baptist Burn Center.

The identities of the victims are unknown at this point.
