Semi Truck Flips On I-40 In Pottawatomie County

A semi truck overturned on westbound interstate 40 Sunday afternoon, causing traffic delays.

The accident occurred near mile marker 172 in Pottawatomie County. The truck was carrying wire spools when it rolled over for an unknown reason.

The driver of the semi was medi-flighted to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.

Traffic continues to be slowed as workers clear the roadway of the wreckage. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of this accident.
