Oklahoma City University women's wrestling has signed Natalia Hinojo, Haley Moreno and Montana Stewart for the 2013-14 season.
Hinojo, Moreno and Stewart are OCU's first signees for 2013-14. OCU won its fourth consecutive Women's College Wrestling Association national championship in 2011-12 and boasted 15 all-Americans and six individual national champions.
Hinojo, of El Paso, Texas, posted a 27-20 record as a sophomore before going 49-1 en route to a state title at 148 pounds in her junior season at Montwood High School. She earned all-city, all-district, all-region and all-state honors in 2012. Hinojo was named 2012 all-city girls wrestler of the year by the El Paso Times.
Moreno, of Fort Worth, Texas, won a state championship at 102 pounds as a junior at Saginaw High School. Moreno also posted a second-place finish at the women's junior nationals.
Stewart, of Azle, Texas, placed fifth at 132 pounds in the Body Bar FILA Cadet Nationals on May 12 in Lakeland, Fla., and sixth at 128 pounds in the 2012 University Interscholastic League state championships. Stewart wrestles for Azle High School.
OCU has won WCWA titles in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
