Water Back On In Konawa

All residents of Konawa now have water, a week after faucets in homes across the town went dry.

The water stopped flowing November 25, because of a leak at a well field. Crews have repaired the leak, and on Saturday, the city lifted a state of emergency imposed on Konawa.

Although the town now has water, residents are still being told to boil the water before drinking it. Konawa's mayor is also warning residents there could be more water problems in the future, due to the city's aging water pipes.
