Judge Orders Father Charged With Locking Child In Dog Crate To Stand Trial

A Tulsa judge has ordered a 48-year-old father charged with having a child locked outside his house in the cold and another locked in a dog crate inside the house to stand trial.

During a court hearing Wednesday, William Lewallen was bound over. His next court hearing is set for January 22nd.

Lewallen's wife, Erin Lewallen, 27, had her hearing passed until January 30th.

Tulsa Police say officers found a naked 3-year-old boy screaming and crying in the backyard of the Lewallen home.

Inside the home, they heard another child screaming and found a 22-month-old girl, locked inside a dog crate.

They found a third child, naked and asleep in a bed next to William Lewallen.
