Charges Filed Against OKC Dad Accused Of Biting Daughter

Oklahoma County prosecutors have charged an Oklahoma City father with child abuse after he allegedly beat his 1-year-old daughter and bit her on the face.

Police arrested 22-year-old Jesus Escobedo on February 3. His girlfriend of three years, and the child's mother, says when she returned home from work, she found her daughter covered in bruises on her face, chest, stomach and buttocks.

The child also had two bite marks on the right cheek of her face.

The woman says Escobedo claimed the girl had fallen off a chair.

Police arrested Escobedo. He was charged Monday with felonious child abuse.
