Naked Man Taken Into Custody Following Fatal Shooting In Elk City

One man is in custody following a fatal shooting in Elk City.

Officers responded to a house in the 600 block of West Avenue Wednesday around 10:30 a.m. where they found a middle-aged woman dead inside.

Officers also saw a naked man run from the back of the home. After a brief foot chase, officers use a taser to stop 26-year-old Aaron Stigleman and take him into custody.

Three schools were placed on a lockdown briefly due to the schools' proximity to the scene.

The victim's name has not been released. The shooting is still under investigation.
