A high-speed chase that began in Warr Acres ended with one suspect shot by police in far southwest Oklahoma City, Friday night.

The chase started at about 9:30 p.m. Police say an officer tried pulling over a motorcycle, but the driver took off, leading to a pursuit.

The chase ended at a dead end 30 minutes later near S.W. 119th and Morgan Road.

At this time, police aren't saying what led up to the shooting. Witnesses say the police were too quick to draw their guns.

"I don't think there's any justification for them shooting him at all whatsoever, I think that they did it just so they could end the chase," Sherie Allen said.

Police have not yet released the suspect's name. The officer was not hurt.
