Infant Dies In Ardmore After Riding In Hot Car

A 1-month-old girl died Tuesday after riding in a car that had no air conditioning and only one working window.

The baby was with her family. The car they were using became extremely hot because it had no a/c, and the family was only able to roll down one window.

During the ride, the family noticed the baby wasn't breathing. They stopped at a convenience store in Ardmore to get help.

The infant was rushed to a hospital emergency room where she was pronounced dead.

The Department of Human Services is investigating the baby's death.
