Two groups are planning to hold a lunchtime rally Monday at the State Capitol in the custody battle known as the "Baby Veronica" case.

News 9 received a news release late Sunday night saying Monday's rally at the Capitol is in support of Veronica and her biological father and family, who are all trying to keep the child in Oklahoma.

Sunday night, there was a different rally in the Tulsa area.

At that one, nearly 50 people showed up to support the adoptive parents from South Carolina. After a U.S. Supreme Court ruling, a South Carolina court confirmed their adoption, and the couple says the 3-year-old Cherokee girl belongs with them.

As the custody battle continues in court, the organizer of Sunday's rally says she wants the "Oklahoma Standard" brought back to this debate.

There appear to be two groups holding Monday's rally here at the State Capitol. One is called Idle No More Central Oklahoma, the other is Standing Our Ground for Veronica Brown.
