Fatal Head-On Collision On Highway 66 In NE OKC

Police now say at least one person was killed Friday morning in a head-on collision on Highway 66 at Lutheran Road in Oklahoma City.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. northeast of the Turner Turnpike and N. Triple X Road. One person may have been ejected from a vehicle during the crash. There are also reports CPR had to be performed on one patient, while another patient at the scene had to be extricated from a vehicle.

A medical helicopter transported at least one patient to a hospital. The name of the person who was killed in the collision has not been released.

It's not known how the crash happened.
