OKC Grandfather Killed In Accidental Shooting While Watching Grandkids

An Oklahoma grandfather is dead following an accidental shooting.

It happened Monday morning at the man's home along S.W. 16th Street in Oklahoma City while he was watching his grandchildren, according to police.

Investigators say the grandfather didn't want his shotgun in the house while he was watching his grandchildren so he was putting in the back of the car when it went off, killing him.

Police say the shooting is not suspicious and appears to be a tragic accident. No other injuries were reported.
