A small earthquake rocked residents near Wetumka, Oklahoma, early Sunday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 12:38 a.m. Sunday. Its epicenter was located eight miles south, southeast of Wetumka, 26 miles west, northwest of McAlester, 35 miles south, southwest of Okmulgee, and 78 miles east, southeast of Oklahoma City.

It was about two miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported following this earthquake.
