A rollover in Oklahoma County killed an off-duty Oklahoma City firefighter Sunday morning.

According to the report, Joshua Kidd, 31, was driving east on I-240 near Pennsylvania Ave just before 7 a.m. when he lost control of his truck. The vehicle rolled, and Kidd was partially ejected.

Oklahoma City firefighters freed Kidd from the vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The report stated the cause of the collision as "too fast for conditions." The airbags did deploy, but Kidd was not wearing a seatbelt.

The Oklahoma City Police and Fire Departments assisted the Oklahoma County detachment with the investigation.
