On Wednesday, the state of Oklahoma filed felony charges of sexual battery rape by instrumentation against Dr. John Fuller of Oklahoma City.

Fuller already faces two civil suits by women who say they went in to see him for pain management, but claim they were sexually molested instead.

"He's a good doctor and he's a good man," said attorney Scott Adams, who is representing Fuller in the criminal case.

Adams says Fuller denies doing anything inappropriate with either one of the women who have come forward.

"And I don't know if it is just a money grab or what," said Adams. "Dr. Fuller is an excellent doctor, and we're going to defend this in a court room and I think at the end of the day he will be exonerated."

The first woman claims she came to see Fuller at the Oklahoma Pain Center for back pain in July 2013. Court papers state she claims during that exam, Fuller placed his hand down her shorts and made improper comments about the size of her breasts.

The second woman who has come forward says Fuller inappropriately touched her during a pain management exam at Variety Care on 10th St. back in 2011. She claims he gave her a breast and vaginal exam without any gloves, when she only came in seeking help for depression, anxiety and weight gain.

"I just don't think it happened," said Adams.

News 9 checked and the state medical licensure board confirms they are investigating allegations against Fuller as well, but that no formal complaints have been filed yet.

"He's an excellent doctor," said Adams. "I'm not aware of any issues he's had with the Board either, and so this is somewhat surprising.

News 9 reached out to attorney George Brown, who is representing one of the women involved in her civil case against Fuller, Brown says his client says Fuller crossed the line, and that she hopes by coming forward it will give others the courage to come forward.

Fuller is still listed as a board certified Ob/Gyn who specializes in pain management. The office manager at  the Oklahoma Pain Center  says Fuller was fired on Monday, and his attorney says Fuller will surrender himself to authorities on Thursday.
