Multiple Earthquakes Reported Across Oklahoma

At least eight quakes have rattled neighborhoods and nerves across Oklahoma.

The swarm started late Wednesday night with two earthquakes, 2.7 and 3.3 in magnitude, near Perry, and a 2.8 magnitude southwest of Guthrie. 

Just after midnight, a 2.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded seven miles south of Guthrie.  Two more quakes were reported east of Perry before 2 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. 

At 2:33 a.m., a significant jolt woke people up across central Oklahoma when a 4.2 magnitude was recorded between Guthrie and Edmond, according to the Oklahoma Geological Survey.

Viewers reported feeling the quake and aftershocks as far away as Tulsa.

No major damage or injuries have been reported. 

At 3:19 a.m., another earthquake was recorded seven miles south, southeast of Guthrie and eight miles north of Edmond. The Oklahoma Geological Survey reports that this earthquake was 3.8 in magnitude.

At 8:18 a.m., a 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck seven miles south, southwest of Guthrie.

At 11:53 a.m., a 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded eight miles west, southwest of Pawnee. And again, at 1 p.m., another 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck the same area.
