Police Seek Suspect After One Injured In Del City Shooting

Police are searching for a suspect accused of shooting a man Friday night in Del City.

It happened just before 11 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of S.E. 27th Street.

According to police, a man and his girlfriend had just left their vehicle and were walking to the front door when the suspect approached them, armed with a gun. Police say the suspect shot the man twice and then took off.

The suspect is described as a white male, and he is believed to be driving a light-colored Chevy Caprice.

Police say the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
