Off-Duty Minco Reserve Officer Arrested On Sexual Battery Charge

A reserve officer with the Minco Police Department was arrested on Friday in Oklahoma City.

According to Oklahoma City police, officers arrested Brett Johnson on charges of sexual battery and oral sodomy.

Johnson is a reserve officer for the Minco Police Department, which means he’s volunteer. He also worked as a security guard, according to police. 

Authorities said Johnson was not on duty with Minco police at the time of the alleged crimes. He had only been with the department since this spring, and has been relieved of duty until the investigation is over.

Details of the alleged crimes are unclear at this time.
