Female Inmate Found Dead At Oklahoma County Jail

OSBI Agents have been called to investigate the death of a female inmate at the Oklahoma County Jail.

The body of the female inmate was discovered Saturday afternoon. When jailers discovered the woman unresponsive, paramedics were called immediately.

The woman was being held for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The identity of the woman has not been released since next of kin have not yet been notified.

Investigators do not suspect foul play. The State Medical examiner's Office will determine the exact cause of death.
