Neighbors in a southwest OKC neighborhood believe two bodies found in a home were of a father and son. Police have not released the names of the victims, but say the two bodies were so badly decomposed, they couldn't even tell the genders.
The father and son, who neighbors say lived inside the home, were seen often walking the neighborhood. In this case, neighbors don't suspect foul play.
“That is sad,” said Viva Walker.
Viva Walker, 88, has seen a lot in her 50 years living on SW 44th St. But two bodies found severely decomposed in a hot home next door to her was a first.
“There was an elderly man that lived in there, real skinny, you know little bones, and real skinny and short. The son was a big heavy set feller,” said Walker.

At least two neighbors including Walker tell News 9 there was no electricity inside this home, which meant no air conditioning in the heat of summer. Walker says it had been at least two weeks since she'd seen the father and son doing their usual strolls around the area.
“And I'd give them a ride places if they'd be out walking. I would always stop and pick them up,” said Walker.
Oklahoma City Police received a call around 6 p.m. Wednesday from someone who said it had been a while since they had seen the people who live in the home.
Officers had to wear face masks because of the decomposed bodies. Animal control was also on scene Wednesday night. There were several cats inside the house when the bodies were discovered.
“I don't understand. They'd have to ask God. I don't understand it,” said Walker.
Police tell News 9 at least one of the victims appears to have taken their own life. The Medical Examiner will determine the exact causes of death. Meanwhile the investigation is on-going.
