A Tuttle woman is charged with assault and battery after attacking her husband with a metal pipe and then running over a family dog.
It started as an argument that escalated to the district attorney's office stepping in and filing charges on Susan Waggoner.
Court documents state Susan was "extremely intoxicated and had hit him several times with her hand and a metal pipe." The officer said he could see "a cut on William's face and blood running down his arm."
William Waggoner told the officer the two "had got into an argument earlier in the day, because Susan accused him of having sex" with another woman.
Court records state Susan "began to drink heavily" and "fell asleep in her Jeep,” but when she woke up, she tore through the yard, ran over one of the dogs and killed it.
News 9 walked up to the couple's home. Susan did not want to talk about the events that happened outside in her yard or the charges that were filed against her for safety reasons.
“Yes, I do mind,” said Susan. “Just for my safety.”
William Waggoner repeatedly told officers he did not want charges filed against his wife, but those charges were filed a couple of days later.
