Emergency crews are on the scene of a semi-truck crash on Interstate 35 near the Kilpatrick Turnpike Friday morning.
According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, a semi-truck rolled over in the southbound lanes of I-35, just south of the Kilpatrick Turnpike.
Authorities said the semi-truck's fuel tank is leaking. So a hazmat crews has been called to respond to the scene.
One person was reportedly injured in the crash. That person's condition is unclear at this time.
According to ODOT, southbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane at Memorial Rd., and traffic is being detoured on the shoulder between the Kilpatrick Turnpike and N.E. 122nd St. as crews work to clear the scene of the wreck.
The southbound I-35 ramp to westbound Kilpatrick Turnpike is open. Crews said they expect the closure to continue into the late afternoon.
