Oklahoma City police arrested a former nursing home employee who is accused of threatening to behead a co-worker.

According to police, on September 16, officers responded to the report of a threat at Bellevue Nursing Home, located at 6500 N. Portland Avenue.

A worker told police that she was wearing a Star of David necklace, and her supervisor for the day, 30-year-old Jacob Muriithi, asked her if she was Jewish. The victim told Muriithi she was not.

Muriithi reportedly told the victim that he represented ISIS. He said they “killed Christians by cutting off their heads.”

According to police, Muriithi then told the victim that he was going to cut her head off with a dull blade and post it on Facebook.

On Friday, September 26, officers arrested Muriithi on charges of act of terrorism and threatening to perform an act of violence. He is being held without bond on the terrorism complaint.

Muriithi was arrested a day after 30-year-old Alton Nolen reportedly beheaded a woman at Vaughan Foods in Moore, Oklahoma.

According to police, Nolen had just been fired from the business before the attack. He reportedly beheaded 54-year-old Colleen Hufford and stabbed 43-year-old Traci Johnson.

Off-duty reserve deputy Mark Vaughan, who is also the COO of the business, fired shots at Nolen and ended the attack. Nolen and Johnson are expected to live.

Moore police said they have asked the FBI to investigate Nolen's background, because co-workers said Nolen had just converted to Islam, and he had been trying to convert other employees as well.
