Oklahoma City police have arrested two juvenile suspects who tried to steal a woman's car keys when she was holding a baby.
According to police, on Thursday, October 2, officers responded to the report of a robbery by force in the parking lot of the Walgreens store at S.W. 29th and May Ave.
The entire incident was caught on camera. Police said the two suspects entered the store and looked around before leaving the store and loitering in the parking lot.
According to police, the victim parked her car and began walking towards the store while she was holding a 10-week-old baby. That's when one suspect tried to grab the victim's keys from her hand. However, police said the suspect only got away with the leather strap that holds the keys. Both suspects then fled the scene.
Tuesday afternoon, police released a surveillance video taken during the incident. Thanks to citizen tips, police were able to identify the suspects as 16-year-old Steven Keith Capps and 14-year-old Lequevin Kelley. Both were taken into custody.
