Tulsa County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman wanted for felony human trafficking. Deputies took one of the city's Most Wanted suspects into custody Friday night.

Curtisha Damaey Crook was wanted for selling a 16-year-old into prostitution, police say.

"This individual, basically, was a predator," Officer Leland Ashley, Tulsa Police Department, said in April of 2014.

Police say Crook gave a 16-year-old runaway drugs and a place to sleep, then advertised her online as an escort. Detectives say Crook set the girl up with clients to have sex in exchange for drugs and sometimes money.

The teen told police Crook and an accomplice, Sally Denton, knew she was under 18 when they drove her to about six "dates" where she had sex with a client.

Tulsa Police said that human sex trafficking has become more difficult to patrol due to use of Internet ads.

"It's done a lot more discreetly and in a way, it's actually more detrimental to these young ladies because they're not out there on the street where, maybe you have officers driving by that could stop, identify them, realize their a runaway," Ashley said.

"You got individuals that are out here, they're advertising on a site that, basically, you and I won't see and they're being victimized on a daily basis."
