Emergency crews evacuated several patients at a nursing and rehabilitation facility after an overnight water main break in northwest Oklahoma City.

Emergency crews evacuated several patients at a nursing and rehabilitation facility after an overnight water main break in northwest Oklahoma City.

According to Oklahoma City police, it happened around 1 a.m. Sunday at the ManorCare Health Services – Northwest, located at 5301 N. Brookline Avenue.

Police said the facility flooded with about two to three inches of water after the line broken in an office near the front door.

Crews evacuated 56 patients and transported them to area hospitals with the help of facility staff, the Oklahoma City Fire Department and EMSA, according to police.

No injuries were reported.

Late Sunday morning, fire crews responded to the same facility and quickly extinguished an electrical fire, according to officials.
