Execution Dates Of 3 Oklahoma Inmates Rescheduled For 2015

The execution dates for three inmates have been rescheduled for the beginning of 2015.

According to the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, Charles Warner, Richard Eugene Glossip, and John Marion Grant were scheduled to be executed on Nov. 13, Nov. 20 and Dec. 4, respectively.

Court documents released Friday shows the State requested the execution dates be rescheduled after a report on the execution of Clayton Lockett, including recommendations for changes to the execution protocols, was released in September.

The court document states in part:

“Based in part upon the time required to secure all necessary drugs to carry out an execution, obtain services of necessary medical personnel, and complete the required training of execution team members, the State has requested that this Court reschedule the executions of the above listed Appellants.”

The document also states that Warner, Glossip and Grant filed an Objection Regarding Execution Dates, but the Court ruled for the dates to be moved.

Warner is now scheduled to be executed on Jan. 15, Glossip on Jan. 29 and Grant on Feb. 19, according to the Court's ruling.
